With over 17 years’ experience as a specialist Underwriter in the Construction, Engineering and Renewable Energy sectors, Mark brings deep technical knowledge and a proven track record across a broad range of complex risks. His underwriting background covers both traditional and specialist classes, and includes extensive experience placing and managing high-value and technically demanding Construction and Engineering projects on an annual and project-specific basis.
Throughout his career he has consistently handled risks with a wide range of values, structures and technical challenges. Underwriting Contract Works placements up to £/€25M on a routine basis, supporting everything from SME-led residential developments to large-scale, multi-phase commercial and mixed-use projects. He is equally comfortable underwriting smaller, straightforward developments as I am providing coverage solutions for major projects with longer build periods, differing construction methods and elevated risk profiles.
